Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer in Dubai to design dry utilities and infrastructure for major development and transportation projects. You will work on electrical distribution networks, substations, street lighting, and telecom layouts, coordinating across disciplines.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in electrical design, familiarity with BIM workflows, and experience from concept to IFC documentation, with authority coordination and NOC submissions as part of the process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 3+ years of electrical engineering design experience.
• Experience from conceptual/master planning through IFC documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs for infrastructure and dry utilities.
• Coordinate design with master planning, roads, landscaping and other disciplines.
• Prepare design calculations, reports and IFC documentation.
• Support authority approvals and NOC submissions.
• Incorporate telecom, street lighting and utility corridor requirements.
• Apply BIM and digital engineering tools to coordination tasks.
