Job summary

Doble Engineering is seeking a Field Engineer to support field testing, data collection, analysis and report elaboration for the Field Services Group. You will interact with clients at utilities, generation plants and industrial sites, coordinating equipment and communication of results.

Essentials include familiarity with electrical substations and power plants, ability to work with test equipment, and professional communication with customers. Domestic and international travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with electrical substations and power plants.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to professionally communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Support field-testing projects, including equipment coordination with the Field Service Team, and client communication.
• Perform field-testing of electric apparatus at locations including utilities, generation plants, and industrial sites.
• Assist on online PD testing, Site Acceptance Testing on MV/HV cables, transformers, and rotating machines.
• Collaborate on the generation of technical reports.
