Job summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer II/III - Studies in Dubai to lead power system studies and project execution within Engineering Services. You will use PSSE, ETAP, and RTDS while driving proposals, coordinating teams, and delivering high-quality results.

The role requires a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years in electric power or industrial automation, and willingness to travel internationally.

Qualifications

B.S. in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.
5+ years experience with electric power systems or industrial automation practices.
Knowledge of protection, control, integration, automation and communications.
Familiarity with ICT and protective relay applications.
Willingness to travel 25% domestically and internationally.
Ability to lead and supervise project teams.
Strong writing, documentation and speaking skills.
Ability to learn new skills and collaborate in a team.

Responsibilities

Serve as technical lead in conceptual and detailed design across multiple projects, using PSSE, ETAP and/or RTDS.
Identify, prepare and present proposals for SEL equipment, services and systems.
Lead project teams to resolve customer concerns and ensure satisfaction.
Ensure deliverables meet scope, schedule and budget with high quality and safety.
Mentor professional staff as needed.
