Job summary
ETS-Lindgren GmbH is seeking a Field Engineer to support field testing, data collection, and analysis for the Field Services Group. You will interact with clients in the electric power industry, including utilities, plants, and industrial sites, and contribute to report elaboration.
The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, familiarity with substations and power plants, and ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50-60%.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field
- Familiarity with electrical substations and power plants
- Proficient in reading schematics (one-line diagrams)
Responsibilities
- Support field-testing projects and coordinate equipment with Field Service Team.
- Perform field-testing of electrical apparatus at utilities, plants, and industrial sites.
- Assist on online PD testing and Site Acceptance Testing on MV/HV cables, transformers, and rotating machines.
- Perform routine electrical testing of cables, transformers, voltage regulators, bushings, and circuit breakers from different manufacturers.
- Generate technical reports and support materials planning.
