Parsons in Dubai is seeking an Electrical Engineer for infrastructure projects focusing on roads and street lighting. The role coordinates MEP construction activities, interfaces with engineers, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards in the UAE.

The candidate will oversee design changes, approvals, and material submissions while coordinating with utility agencies to prevent delays. Strong communication, CAD proficiency, and DEWA regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 8+ years of experience.
• 8+ years managing construction and supervising infrastructure projects (roads and street lights).
• Professional Engineer registration may be required.
• Ability to build strong working relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and authorities.
• Experience with authorities such as DEWA, RTA, DM and knowledge of DEWA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Utility Agency representatives and Contractors on approvals and design changes.
• Monitor material submissions and updates to the Materials Schedule.
• Oversee inspection, surveying and testing requests for MEP works.
• Review and approve Contractor's MEP Shop Drawings as delegated.
• Prepare MEP meeting minutes and agendas.
• Coordinate inspections, testing and reconciliations to obtain final NOCs.
• Verify measurements by Inspectors/Land Surveyors.
• Review as-built drawings in coordination with inspectors.
