L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering is seeking a Site Engineer Electrical PV to oversee all electrical aspects of our solar project on-site, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality execution of electrical works at a large-scale solar power plant.

The role involves supervising installation of electrical systems, coordinating with civil, mechanical and project teams, liaising with subcontractors and authorities, and ensuring compliance with design specs, standards, and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 6-12 years of electrical engineering experience, with at least 3 years in solar PV projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems for large-scale solar plants.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all electrical engineering activities on-site.
• Supervise installation of electrical systems including inverters, transformers, cabling, PV panels and grid connections.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all Electrical engineering activities on-site manage and supervise the installation of electrical systems including inverters transformers cabling PV panel and grid connections Ensure all electrical work complies with project specifications industry standards and safety regulations Work closely with civil mechanical and project management teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within the overall project framework Liaise with subcontractors suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and installation of electrical components Ensure compliance with all HSE regulations and promote a culture of safety on the site Prepare and submit regular reports to the project manager on the status of electrical installations Identify potential electrical issues early and develop effective solutions to keep the project on track Ensure all electrical installations comply with local regulations industry standards and project specifications Liaise with local authorities as required to ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained

Qualifications

A bachelor s degree in electrical engineering or a related field. A minimum of 6-12 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in solar PV projects. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, especially in large-scale solar power plants.
