Job summary

Azizi Developments is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer in Dubai. Job description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong knowledge of diesel generators, power systems, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities.

The ideal candidate should have experience handling generator projects, troubleshooting electrical systems, coordinating with clients/site teams, and ensuring smooth operation of power backup systems. Experience in synchronization panels, load calculations, ATS/AMF systems, and generator control panels will be an added advantage.

Preferred candidates with UAE/GCC experience in generator or power solutions companies.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel generators.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and control system faults.
• Inspect generators, alternators, AVR systems, batteries, breakers, and control panels.
• Conduct routine testing including load bank testing and synchronization checks.
• Monitor generator performance and recommend improvements for reliability and efficiency.
• Maintain Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) and synchronization panels.
• Supervise generator servicing, overhauls, and emergency repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, electrical standards, and maintenance procedures.Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and maintenance teams.
• Prepare maintenance schedules, reports, service records, and technical documentation.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide technical support during power failures.
• Support commissioning and testing activities for newly installed generators.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and recommend critical spare requirements
