Job summary

SAFE LINE ELECTRICAL & MECHANICAL L.L.C in Dubai seeks a Hiring Testing Commissioning Engineer to perform testing, commissioning, and preventive maintenance of diesel generators, AMF and synchronization panels, ensuring compliance with project specs.

You will analyze faults, prepare reports, coordinate with project teams, support installation and handover, and uphold safety and quality standards. A UAE driving license is an advantage; 3–7 years in generator testing and commissioning required.

Qualifications

Hiring Testing Commissioning Engineer - Dubai

Key Responsibilities

• Perform testing and commissioning of diesel generators, synchronization panels, AMF panels and related equipment
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of generator systems
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in generators and associated control systems
• Inspect, diagnose and rectify operational issues to minimize downtime
• Ensure generators comply with project specifications and client requirements during commissioning
• Carry out load bank testing and performance evaluation of generator sets
• Prepare commissioning reports, service reports and maintenance documentation
• Coordinate with project, service and operations teams for smooth execution of maintenance activities
• Attend breakdown calls and provide timely technical support
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality procedures and company policies
• Support installation, startup and handover activities at client sites

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–7 years of experience in generator maintenance, testing, and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of diesel generators, control panels, synchronization systems, and power distribution.
• Experience with major generator brands such as Cummins, Perkins, Caterpillar, or similar.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• UAE driving license will be an added advantage.
