As an Electrical BIM Modeler – Landscape Lighting & Swimming Pool Electrical, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining detailed electrical BIM models using Revit for landscape lighting and swimming pool electrical systems throughout all phases of construction. You will ensure that all electrical models and drawings are accurately developed and coordinated in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, BIM standards, applicable codes, and actual site conditions. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in landscape lighting and swimming pool electrical systems, with strong hands‑on experience in Revit and Navisworks. Previous experience working on UAE landscape, swimming pool, and high‑rise construction projects is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain detailed Electrical BIM models in Revit for landscape lighting and swimming pool electrical systems in accordance with project requirements.
- Model landscape lighting systems, including lighting fixtures, bollards, lighting poles, in‑ground lights, spike lights, step lights, linear lighting, feature lighting, and underwater/feature lighting interfaces.
- Model electrical services including underground conduits, cable containment, duct banks, sleeves, junction boxes, pull boxes, feeder pillars, lighting control panels, distribution boards, and associated equipment.
- Model and coordinate swimming pool electrical panels, control panels, isolators, junction boxes, containment, and electrical connections for pool pumps, filtration equipment, pool lighting, water features, and other specialist equipment.
- Prepare and extract electrical shop drawings, layouts, sections, elevations, installation details, and schedules from the BIM model.
- Develop and coordinate underground electrical containment routes, including conduits, duct banks, sleeves, service crossings, pull pits, and junction boxes.
- Coordinate landscape lighting and swimming pool electrical systems with landscape, irrigation, civil, drainage, structural, architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and other MEP services.
- Perform clash detection and interference checks using Revit and Navisworks and coordinate resolution of identified clashes.
- Coordinate electrical services with hardscape, softscape, trees, planting areas, swimming pools, water features, roads, pathways, kerbs, walls, and landscape structures.
- Coordinate lighting fixture locations, mounting requirements, electrical connection points, feeder pillars, control panels, distribution boards, isolators, and maintenance/access requirements.
- Coordinate underground electrical routes with finished ground levels, utility corridors, irrigation networks, drainage systems, pool services, and other underground utilities.
- Prepare and coordinate Builder’s Work in Connection (BWIC) requirements, including sleeves, trenches, duct banks, openings, embedded conduits, lighting pole foundations, and service penetrations.
- Ensure electrical models comply with approved drawings, project specifications, approved material submittals, BIM standards, authority requirements, and actual site conditions.
- Review and incorporate RFIs, consultant comments, approved shop drawings, material submittals, site markups, redlines, survey information, and technical changes into the BIM model.
- Generate material take‑offs and quantity schedules for lighting fixtures, conduits, duct banks, junction boxes, pull pits, feeder pillars, electrical panels, lighting poles, and other electrical components.
- Prepare and maintain LOD 500 / as‑built Electrical BIM models based on actual installations, approved redlines, and site survey information.
- Maintain accurate Revit families, parameters, schedules, worksets, view templates, and model information required for construction and final handover.
- Upload and manage BIM models and drawings through Autodesk Docs / BIM 360, maintaining proper revision, naming, and version control.
- Prepare regular BIM model updates, coordination drawings, clash reports, shop drawing submissions, and BIM progress updates.
- Liaise with electrical engineers, landscape architects, lighting designers, swimming pool specialists, BIM coordinators, MEP coordinators, irrigation teams, civil teams, site engineers, and subcontractors to resolve coordination‑related concerns.
- Ensure all Landscape Lighting and Swimming Pool Electrical BIM deliverables are accurate, coordinated, constructible, and suitable for installation and final project handover.
