Job summary

Siemens Energy in the UAE seeks an HSE professional to own the site’s HSE Plan across projects, collaborating with EQS, project management, contractors, and clients to keep operations safe and compliant.

You will develop and review HSE plans, deliver monthly performance reporting, advise on risk mitigation, lead toolbox talks, and ensure regulatory and EHS compliance while modeling Siemens' conduct guidelines. Strong leadership and proactive problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

In this role you'll take ownership of the HSE Plan across our UAE projects, working shoulder-to-shoulder with the EQS team, project management, contractors, and Siemens Energy's clients to keep operations safe, compliant, and running smoothly.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Develop, implement, and continuously review the site's HSE Plan, ensuring it stays aligned with project realities and evolving risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Deliver monthly HSE performance reporting to both the Client and Project Management, translating site data into clear insights that support informed decision-making.
• Act as the on-site HSE expert, advising Project Management, engineers, and subcontractors on best practices, regulatory requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Lead toolbox talks and regular HSE meetings with site representatives to reinforce safety awareness and keep HSE front-of-mind across the workforce.
• Conduct proactive site monitoring to identify unsafe practices, behaviors, and occupational health or welfare gaps before they elevate into incidents.
• Uphold QA procedures and statutory, regulatory, and EHS compliance across all site activities, while modeling Siemens' Business Conduct Guidelines and a collaborative, team-first working style.

What You Bring

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, EHS or relevant field together with a NEBOSH International General Certificate or NEBOSH Construction Certificate, demonstrating a solid formal grounding in HSE principles.
• Fresh graduate or up to 3 years of practical, hands-on experience applying HSE practices within a live project or construction environment.
• Strong working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental requirements, along with how to translate them into effective on-site implementation.
• Familiarity with applicable legal and regulatory frameworks governing workplace safety, and the ability to apply them confidently in day-to-day operations.
• Demonstrated leadership capability, including the confidence to drive site-wide compliance and hold stakeholders accountable to HSE standards.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, with proven ability to participate in risk evaluation, risk reduction, and continuous HSE performance improvement.
