Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a seasoned professional to join its global project execution team in the Abu Dhabi region. You will lead or support execution projects, guiding the core team to deliver on time, within scope and budget while coordinating with diverse stakeholders across functions and cultures.

The role emphasizes strong project management experience, leadership, and cross‑functional collaboration, with fluency in English and beneficial knowledge of additional languages.

Qualifications

• Completed engineering, natural science or management degree.
• PM certification (PM@Siemens or IPMA).
• Experience in project management in powerplant or comparable projects with understanding of commercial/contractual context.
• Experience in managing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support execution projects in the region as part of the global execution core team.
• Ensure project success in time, quality and financial outcomes.
• Represent the project to multiple stakeholders.
• Share experience with the project management team to improve business beyond the project view.

You are part of the core team of a global project execution team. You are representing the project in the country of erection. You execute projects with passion and are a reliable partner to our internal and external customers. You are a committed team player and are convinced that only a successful team can turn a project into success.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• You will play a key role in the global execution core team by leading or supporting execution projects in the region
• With the core team you will be responsible for the success of the project and the project results (time, quality and financial)
• You will be an integral part of an interdisciplinary and intercultural project team
• You will represent the project vis‑à‑vis multiple stakeholders
• You will share your experience with entire project management team and help to improve our business above and beyond the project view

What You Bring

• Completed engineering, natural science or management degree. A Project Management Certification Degree (PM@Siemens or IPMA)
• Experience in project management in powerplant or comparable projects, with a comprehensive understanding of commercial and contractual context and additional experience in construction site operations is appreciated
• Experience in managing teams
• Very good written and spoken English, knowledge of Arabic and German language is appreciated, additional language knowledges are of advantage
• Structured and result driven approach to tasks and distinct entrepreneurial capabilities
• Strong communication skills, independent work ethic and strong team player capabilities

Our Gas Services division offers Low‑emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
