Key Responsibilities

• Support children in daily activities to ensure their safety, well‑being, and holistic development
• Deliver planned learning activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
• Promote independent learning and positive behavior through age‑appropriate teaching methods
• Provide a high standard of care within nursery policies and regulatory guidelines
• Observe, monitor, and record children’s progress using learning and development profiles
• Adapt activities to meet the individual needs of children and encourage inclusion
• Maintain responsibility for health, safety, welfare, and security of children at all times
• Participate in assessments and preparation of progress reports for children
• Support nursery management with additional duties as required

Ideal Profile

• University degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field with a certified vocational qualification in early childhood care (Level III)
• Alternatively, a high school diploma combined with a certified vocational certificate in early childhood care and education (Level 3) with a minimum of two years relevant experience
• Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and EYFS standards
