Job summary

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) is seeking an experienced HR professional to lead learning and development, talent management and career development initiatives. You will design competency-based pathways, align programmes with Emiratization priorities, and build sustainable talent pipelines.

The role focuses on graduate, trainee, internship and emerging-talent programmes, overseeing governance, impact analysis and ongoing improvements, while partnering with business leaders to drive capability

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience in Learning and Development, Talent Management, Organizational Development.
• Experience in Banking or Financial Services or large organizations designing competency-based development programmes and managing early careers.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Psychology or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and management of graduate, trainee, internship, talent and emerging-talent programmes to ensure structured development journeys from onboarding through early years, aligned with Emiratization and future workforce needs.
• Manage career development and role transitions through lateral moves, promotions, and accelerated development opportunities to ensure readiness and performance.
• Apply the bank’s competency framework across development journeys, assessments, and learning interventions to meet capability requirements.
• Design and maintain competency-based learning pathways for graduates and early-career employees.
• Coordinate governance, reporting and evaluation of early careers and career development programmes to generate insights and drive improvements.
• Lead experiences such as rotations, stretch projects, mentoring, coaching, and action-learning to boost capability and exposure.
• Support implementation of assessment approaches and development planning frameworks across defined career stages.
