Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Senior Manager to lead supplier sourcing and capacity strategy for Large Electric Power Solutions (LEPs). You will secure manufacturing capacity, evaluate suppliers, and collaborate with Sales for aligned delivery.

The role requires strong technical and commercial acumen, leadership, and stakeholder influencing skills. International travel and office-based work are expected.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or related field.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills would be useful.

Responsibilities

• Source, develop and onboard suppliers across the EAME region for CAT Solutions, diesel and gas genset enclosures.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and contracts with suppliers.
• Lead a team to ensure suppliers meet People, Quality, Velocity and Cost metrics.
• Lead a group delivering projects on lean processes, global markets, tools and systems.
• Manage development of capacity and capability; collaborate with senior stakeholders to gather requirements and plan deployment.
• Execute strategic initiatives: standardized practices, offerings, services, and tools/trainings.
• Drive adoption and identify continuous improvement; standardize, simplify and mitigate risks.
