Job summary

International Schools Partnership Limited is seeking an experienced teacher to join our Dubai team. You will deliver engaging lessons across the English national curriculum, stretch able learners at KS5, and work with colleagues to develop effective resources.

The role emphasises safeguarding, pastoral care, and a commitment to high standards of student progress, with opportunities for professional development and extracurricular involvement.

Qualifications

• Good honours degree.
• QTS or PGCE teaching qualification, preferably from the UK.
• Minimum of two years' teaching experience.
• Experience teaching relevant UK curricula.
• Willingness to contribute to departmental resource development.
• Willingness to contribute to whole-school enrichment activities before or after school.
• Ability to provide an ICPC and UK Enhanced DBS or equivalent police check.

Responsibilities

• Have excellent subject knowledge, including the ability to stretch the most able learners at KS5.
• Have an in-depth knowledge of examination requirements and specifications taught.
• Use contextual data to plan learning to meet all learners' needs.
• Be a responsive teacher, adapting practice to ensure progress.
• Provide appropriate challenge to all learners, including More Able and Talented.
• Support students with additional learning needs and English Language Learners while maintaining high expectations.
• Undertake formative and summative assessment strategies.
• Mark work in accordance with the school marking policy.
