Astra ProMed in Dubai seeks an experienced Consultant in Oncology & Hematology to lead diagnosis, treatment, and long-term care for patients with solid tumors and hematologic conditions. The role requires advanced expertise and a strong commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered cancer care.

The successful candidate will prescribe systemic therapies, supervise care teams, and participate in multidisciplinary boards while ensuring quality, safety, and clinical governance across the facility.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree required.
• Postgraduate qualification in Medical Oncology and Hematology or equivalent.
• Board certification or equivalent consultant qualification.
• Fellowship or subspecialty training in Medical Oncology/Hematology desirable.
• Minimum 5–10 years of relevant post-specialization experience in oncology and hematology.
• Eligible for DHA Consultant classification/license in Dubai.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of oncological and hematological patients.
• Diagnose and manage solid tumors (breast, lung, GI, GU, etc.) within scope of expertise.
• Evaluate and manage hematological malignancies (leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, MDS).
• Diagnose and treat benign hematological conditions (anemia, thrombocytopenia, coagulation disorders).
• Develop individualized cancer treatment plans based on clinical evaluation, histopathology, molecular testing, imaging, and labs.
• Prescribe and supervise chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, hormonal therapy, and other systemic treatments.
• Monitor treatment response and manage complications and toxicities.
• Coordinate HSCT/BMT referrals and transplant-related care as appropriate.
• Participate in tumor boards and collaborate with surgical, radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, and specialists.
• Provide survivorship care and appropriate disease surveillance.
