Job summary

The leading hospital in Dubai seeks an experienced Consultant Oncologist to provide comprehensive cancer care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and management of patients with solid tumors and hematologic malignancies.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, develop personalized treatment plans, oversee chemotherapy and newer therapies, mentor junior physicians, and contribute to clinical audits and research while upholding the highest patient-safety standards.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Completion of postgraduate training in Medical Oncology, Clinical Oncology, or a related specialty.
• Board Certification, Fellowship, or equivalent specialist qualification in Oncology.
• Minimum of 5 years of post-specialty clinical experience as an Oncologist.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage patients with solid tumors and hematological malignancies.
• Conduct comprehensive oncology assessments and evaluate diagnostic results.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on clinical findings, pathology reports, imaging, and guidelines.
• Administer and monitor systemic cancer treatments including chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and hormonal therapy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in tumor board meetings.
• Provide counseling and education to patients and families regarding diagnosis, prognosis, and follow-up care.
• Monitor treatment response and adjust approaches as required.
• Maintain accurate patient records in EMR systems.
• Engage in clinical audits, research activities, and CME; mentor junior physicians.
