Job summary

Parsons in Dubai, UAE is seeking an experienced Materials Engineer to join our team. You will oversee material quality, testing compliance, and QA activities for major infrastructure projects, ensuring all materials meet project specs and industry standards.

You will monitor materials, review lab and field test results, coordinate with contractors and laboratories, witness testing on site, review reports and documentation, and drive corrective actions to maintain compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or construction-related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in materials engineering.
• Mandatory UAE infrastructure project experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, testing procedures, and quality control.
• Experience reviewing laboratory and field test results.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate construction materials to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality requirements.
• Review laboratory and field test results and provide technical recommendations.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and testing laboratories on material-related matters.
• Witness and verify material testing activities conducted on site and in laboratories.
• Review material submittals, technical reports, and quality documentation.
• Investigate material-related issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, specifications, and quality procedures.
• Prepare and maintain records, reports, and documentation related to project materials and testing activities.
