Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer for a major UAE roads and infrastructure project. You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with contracts and specifications, and lead quality control through staking, testing, inspection, and documentation.

The role demands strong leadership and site safety oversight. Ideal candidates have 20+ years in infrastructure, civil engineering, and a PE license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Minimum 20 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, managing large-scale projects including roads, bridges & underpasses.
• RTA projects experience preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the client’s programme or progress report.
• Ensure compliance with Contract Documents.
• Inspect workmanship and material.
• Coordinate controls for the Client.
• Make layout checks on line and grades.
• Review and approve shop drawings.
• Prepare Monthly Progress Reports.
• Monitor site safety and report violations.
