Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Materials Inspector for major Roads and Infrastructure and bridges projects located in Dubai. The role involves inspection and supervision to ensure activities align with project specifications.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a relevant field and 5+ years of materials testing/field inspection experience, with Middle East exposure preferred. RTA/DCL approval is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect site conditions prior to start of construction activities and verify site compatibility with designed permanent works.
• Review materials delivered to site for conformance with approved samples and report findings.
• Prepare daily logs and reports; maintain records of inspections, tests performed and work executed.
• Assist with inspection of completed works and handover activities; monitor start-up, testing and commissioning.
