Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in design, construction, and supervision of water pipelines, sewerage networks, rising mains, and pumping stations.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai's existing infrastructure networks.
• Hands-on experience with ISO9000 quality systems and inspection procedures.
• Dubai Central Laboratory approval required.
• Strong understanding of authority standards and compliance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve contractor material submissions and proposed construction methods as delegated by the Resident Engineer.
• Monitor daily site activities to ensure materials and workmanship meet project specifications.
• Prepare and maintain the Materials Engineer daily diary and inspection records.
• Conduct field inspections and oversee quality control processes during ongoing works.
• Review contractor testing requests and verify completed laboratory and field test reports.
• Attend factory visits and supplier plant inspections when required.
• Follow up on testing approvals and certifications from relevant authorities.
• Coordinate with contractor supervisory staff regarding work sequencing and material delivery schedules.
• Monitor compliance with contractor schedules and material performance standards.
• Prepare written and verbal reports addressing contractual, procedural, and quality matters.
