Job summary

Zutari is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to support major infrastructure works in Dubai, UAE. This role targets a site-based professional with strong bridge and road coordination experience and a solid grasp of local authority requirements.

The successful candidate will lead on-site supervision, manage multidisciplinary interfaces and liaise with RTA and clients to ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 10–15 years of site-based engineering experience, with Dubai exposure.
• Proven supervision of bridge projects and complex infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of RTA standards, procedures and approvals.
• Strong communication, reporting and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with engineering and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site supervision on bridge and road projects.
• Coordinate interfaces between bridges, roads, drainage and utilities.
• Ensure safety, quality, and programme compliance.
• Liaise with RTA, contractors and clients to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare progress reports and highlight risks with corrective actions.
• Support approvals, inspections and authority submissions.
• Act as primary on-site point of coordination between contractor, client and project teams.
