Job summary

Zutari Middle East is seeking a Structural Inspector to monitor and inspect structural works on infrastructure and building projects in Dubai, ensuring compliance with RTA and Dubai Municipality standards. The role provides on-site technical oversight and requires attention to quality, safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in structural inspection.
• Experience on RTA or Dubai Municipality projects.
• Knowledge of reinforced concrete, structural steel, foundations, formwork, reinforcement.
• Familiarity with standards/codes such as ACI, BS, ASTM, AISC, Eurocodes.
• Strong communication and reporting in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office and digital inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and supervise structural construction activities per drawings and specifications.
• Verify compliance with approved method statements and ITPs.
• Review Inspection Requests (IRs) and ensure preconditions are met.
• Review material submittals and shop drawings for constructability and compliance.
• Maintain QA/QC records, NCRs, and documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and authorities (e.g. RTA/DM).
• Ensure adherence to HSE requirements and stop unsafe works when needed.
