Job summary

Vanderlande seeks a Project Procurement Manager in Dubai to act as the procurement expert during the Project Execution phase, ensuring on-time, in-full delivery of products and services. You will collaborate with engineering and project teams to minimize risk and maximize value, supporting the CTO transformation and a resilient supplier ecosystem.

The role involves leading sales and project procurement activities, managing RFx events, and negotiating with suppliers to achieve cost efficiency

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management or project execution support.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, RFx management and supplier performance management.
• Strong analytical skills to assess project requirements, supplier performance and risks.
• Experience in managing supplier escalations and mitigation strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead negotiations and drive cost savings.
• Ability to travel internationally up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Act as the procurement lead during Sales and Project Execution phases, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate RFx events for non-itemized items and evaluate supplier proposals against criteria.
• Escalate delays or issues and align with Supply Plan and category strategies.
• Advise on default products or supplier options when specifications change and select alternatives when needed.
• Maintain and update the project Supply Plan as the process progresses.
