Job summary

Vanderlande is seeking a Project Procurement Manager in Dubai to act as the procurement expert during project execution. You will be the key contact for procurement activities, coordinating with engineering and project teams to ensure on-time, in-full delivery and optimal supplier performance.

You will lead RFx events, manage supplier proposals, and align activities with the Supply Plan while mitigating risk and driving cost-efficiency.

Qualifications

5–7 years of procurement, supply chain, or project execution experience in technical/engineering settings.
Strong RFx management and supplier performance knowledge.
Analytical skills to assess requirements and risks.
Proven negotiating skills and cost-saving drive.
Ability to travel internationally up to 5%.

Responsibilities

Act as the key procurement lead for Sales and Project Execution phases to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.
Lead RFx events for non-itemized products and services and evaluate supplier proposals.
Align procurement activities with the project Supply Plan and category strategies.
Advise stakeholders on supplier options when specs change and trigger new supplier selections when needed.
Maintain and update the project Supply Plan as progress occurs.
Collaborate with engineering and project teams to minimize risk and drive value.
