Job summary

Vanderlande seeks a Project Procurement Manager to act as the procurement expert during project execution, ensuring on-time, in-full delivery of products and services. You will collaborate with engineering and project teams to minimize risk and keep projects on track.

The role sits within the Project Procurement team and global organization, focusing on aligning with the Supply Plan, managing RFx events, and driving supplier performance while enabling CTO/ETO/CTO strategies.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of procurement, supply chain or project execution in tech/engineering environments.
• Strong knowledge of RFx processes and supplier performance management.
• Analytical ability to assess requirements, delivery performance and risks.
• Experience leading negotiations and achieving cost savings while balancing risk.
• Ability to travel internationally up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Act as the key point-of-contact for procurement during Sales and Project Execution to minimize risk and cost.
• Lead RFx events for non-itemized products and services and evaluate supplier proposals.
• Align procurement activities with the Supply Plan and project timelines.
• Advise stakeholders on supplier options during spec changes.
• Update project Supply Plan as execution progresses.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and project teams to ensure on-time, in-full delivery.
