Job summary

McDermott International, Ltd in Dubai is seeking an Associate Certification Technician to maintain project records, manage Material Certificate Records, NDT results, welding, and traceability throughout fabrication and inspection. You will compile dossiers for client and Certifying Authority review and support closeout with organized certification packages.

Ideal candidate has a minimum Senior High School qualification and 2+ years in fabrication documentation, with strong attention to detail

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with fabrication, piping, welding, inspection, or project certification documentation is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Set up approved project drawings within the certification system accurately and in accordance with procedures.
• Record drawing revisions and maintain alignment between certification records and current approved documentation.
• Generate Material Certificate Records for applicable fabricated materials.
• Coordinate customer and third-party review and approval of Material Certificate Records.
• Prepare traceability reference tables from approved material certification information.
• Maintain links between materials, drawings, fabrication records, and certification documentation.
• Record Computerized Inspection Requests within the approved system before NDT activities.
• Enter Material Traceability Numbers progressively into certification records.
• Submit completed certification packages to customers and certifying authorities for review.
