Our client, a prestigious hospital in Dubai, is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) / Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to oversee and lead the nursing department. The role focuses on strategic planning, operational leadership, and compliance with UAE regulations and international accreditation standards.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned nursing leader with extensive hospital management experience and a proven track record in driving clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of nursing experience, with 5+ years in senior leadership.
• Experience in JCI/international-standard hospitals.
• Strong knowledge of UAE healthcare regulations.
• Proven leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the nursing department.
• Develop and oversee nursing policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Lead staff recruitment, training, and development.
• Manage departmental budgets and resources.
• Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and safety.
• Ensure DHA and JCI accreditation readiness.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership on strategic goals.
• Monitor KPIs and optimize staffing and scheduling.
• Drive continuous clinical improvement and nursing excellence.
