Job summary

Noorka Logistics is seeking an IT Support Engineer in Dubai to maintain IT systems and assist employees across the organization. The role requires strong troubleshooting, hardware and software knowledge, and the ability to resolve issues efficiently.

Responsibilities include setting up desktops and peripherals, supporting Windows and Microsoft 365, managing user accounts, backups, security practices, and coordinating with vendors to keep systems secure and reliable for daily logistics operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience as IT Support Engineer, IT Technician, or Help Desk preferred.
• Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with Windows OS and Microsoft 365.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi).
• Knowledge of antivirus tools, data backup, and IT security practices.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Good communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to prioritize support requests and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and IT-related issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot operating system, application, network, and connectivity problems.
• Set up and manage user accounts, email accounts, and access permissions.
• Support Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, and other business applications.
• Monitor network connectivity and resolve basic LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet issues.
• Perform routine system updates, software installations, and preventive maintenance.
• Assist with data backup, recovery, and basic information security procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, software licences, and support requests.
• Provide technical assistance for logistics software, shipment tracking systems, and office applications.
• Diagnose hardware faults and coordinate equipment repairs or replacements when necessary.
• Install and update antivirus software and follow company IT security policies.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers when required.
• Document technical issues, solutions, and recurring system problems.
• Support employees with IT-related questions and provide clear instructions.
• Help maintain the reliability and security of the company’s IT infrastructure.
