Job summary

Johnson Controls in Dubai is seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer to support the HVAC Install division. Based in Dubai, you will drive bidding, costing, and client coordination for HVAC systems, including chillers and AHU/FCU designs. The role requires 5 years UAE estimation experience and strong communication skills.

You will work with operations, procurement, and the commercial team to ensure timely and competitive proposals that meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or a similar field.
• 5 years UAE experience in estimation of HVAC systems.
• Negotiation skills and vendor management.
• Proficient in MS Office, Visio, and AutoCAD.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support sales team in bid/proposals and product information.
• Prepare RFIs, attend site surveys, bid-clarification meetings, and obtain quotations from suppliers.
• Estimate in-house product costs and engineering labor and project management.
• Coordinate with the client on specifications and technical clarifications to submit competitive proposals.
• Lead peer-to-peer meetings with Operations, Procurement and commercial teams to align scope and timelines.
