Job summary

Ambient Enterprises, a Dubai-based leader in custom HVAC solutions, seeks a senior HVAC engineer to support pre-sales activities and client engagements. You will collaborate with sales, engineering, and operations to size, select, and configure HVAC equipment, prepare technical proposals, and ensure designs meet energy codes and project budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or HVAC engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in HVAC engineering with pre-sale focus.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components and applications.
• Familiarity with energy codes and building regulations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and project scope.
• Guide HVAC system designs, equipment selections, and feasibility.
• Estimate HVAC system costs including equipment and third-party items.
• Develop accurate cost proposals aligned with budgets.
• Evaluate customer needs to recommend HVAC systems like chillers and AHUs.
• Use design tools to size, select, and configure HVAC equipment.
• Prepare technical proposals, specs, and scope of work documents.
• Review technical docs and drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Work cross-functionally with Engineering, PM, and Operations.
• Serve as a technical resource throughout the sales process.
