Job summary

Amazon UAE is seeking a Quality Specialist for Fresh Grocery to monitor inbound quality from receipt through picking and packing, coordinating with vendors and store teams to ensure adherence to product specifications. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel in an operational setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and fresh product quality.

Responsibilities

• Inspect meat, seafood, fruits, vegetables, eggs, and other perishable products during inbound receiving.
• Conduct quality checks at stores, hubs, and vendor sites against product specifications.
• Reject damaged or non-compliant products and coordinate return to vendors.
• Record rejected products by item, vendor, quantity, and issue.
• Audit fresh product quality during picking and packing activities.
• Check packaging practices to ensure product protection during handling and order prep.
• Prepare daily/weekly quality reports for stakeholders.
• Train associates on quality requirements and SOPs.
• Collaborate with vendors to improve incoming product quality and reduce defects.
