Dubai Fit-Out Project Coordination Lead

Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an organized Fit-Out Project Coordinator to support the coordination and execution of fit-out projects in Dubai. The role involves coordinating site activities with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and quality.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of fit-out/site coordination experience, familiarity with architectural/MEP coordination, and the ability to read drawings, specs, and BOQs. UAE driving license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of fit-out/site coordination experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Experience in commercial, retail, hospitality, and/or healthcare fit-out projects.
• Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Knowledge of project schedules, site documentation, material coordination, and follow-ups.
• Proficient in MS Office and project scheduling/tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update project schedules to track activities against agreed timelines.
• Coordinate site activities, manpower, materials, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project resources.
• Monitor project progress against the approved program and report any delays to the Project Manager.
• Follow up on site works to ensure compliance with drawings, specs, BOQ, and project requirements.
• Conduct regular site follow-ups and monitor workmanship, progress, and quality.
• Coordinate between civil, architectural, MEP, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety works to minimize clashes and delays.
• Act as a key coordination point between site and internal departments.
• Liaise with design, procurement, sales, commercial, accounts, and management teams.
• Provide updates on project requirements, site progress, delays, material needs, and outstanding issues.
• Coordinate with procurement on material/equipment requirements and deliveries.
• Attend site meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Maintain professional communication regarding coordination matters and responses to site queries.
• Track consultant comments, inspections, approvals, and outstanding requirements.
• Maintain organized records of project correspondence and site instructions.
