Job summary

Alfa Laval seeks a Field Service Engineer in Dubai, UAE to service equipment on-site and at service centers, install, commission, troubleshoot and maintain high-speed separators, decanters and plate heat exchangers in process industries.

You will act as a service advisor, train customer crews, ensure service visits and document observations while adhering to safety standards; travel within the region is expected and English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering background / Mechanical / Electrical / Automation with hands on experience.
• Process control instrumentation, understanding of software programmes and industrial networking experience and knowledge will be an advantage
• Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in rotating equipment, heat exchangers, decanters, high speed separators and associated equipment.
• Good knowledge & practical skills in Microsoft office packages and digital reporting.
• Good communication & negotiation skills. Express verbal and written ideas effectively to all levels of people.

Responsibilities

• Servicing equipment on-site & at service centers per Alfa Laval standards.
• Installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, audits, and maintenance of products (heat exchangers, separators, decanters).
• Act as service advisor to accelerate service business growth.
• Train customer crews on Alfa Laval equipment & features.
• Ensure service visits are fulfilled and all observations are documented with customers.
• Generate service reports, expense reports and signed timesheets.
