Job summary

AECOM Middle East Ltd in Dubai is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead the design development of major RTA infrastructure projects. In this role, you will manage design activities to ensure compliance with RTA standards and coordinate a multidisciplinary team throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering and at least 10 years of relevant experience in the UAE. You will work with a collaborative team, focusing on quality and innovation in infrastructure development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in UAE on infrastructure or transportation projects.
• Strong knowledge of RTA standards and Dubai local authority procedures and regulations.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary design teams.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to lead complex design interfaces through approval and construction stages.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage design development for RTA infrastructure projects.
• Review, coordinate, and approve design deliverables at various stages.
• Ensure compliance with RTA manuals and Dubai authority requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design activities and manage interfaces.
• Provide technical input on calculations, drawings, specifications, and estimates.
