Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Project Manager - Construction Management to lead complex construction initiatives in Dubai, UAE. You will oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-10 years of professional experience in construction project management.
• Proven expertise in project planning, scheduling, and budget management.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and local UAE regulations.
• Proficiency with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or equivalent platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Advanced time management and organizational capabilities.
• Proficiency in contract management and procurement processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with large-scale or complex construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate all project activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and milestones while maintaining detailed project documentation
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and implement cost control measures to ensure financial objectives are met
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks through proactive analysis and develop contingency plans
• Oversee quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and UAE regulations
• Lead and supervise project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and internal staff, fostering collaboration and accountability
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, clients, and senior management, providing regular progress updates and addressing concerns
• Manage contracts, procurement processes, and vendor relationships to optimize resources and maintain project efficiency
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including local UAE safety standards and OSHA guidelines
• Analyze project performance metrics and implement corrective actions to improve operational efficiency
