Job summary

Marsh is seeking a Placement Broker to join its Construction Practice in the Dubai International Finance Centre (DIFC). The role focuses on designing and placing insurance programs for large construction projects across the IMEA region, including CAR, EAR, DSU, and TPL lines.

You will work with clients, insurers, and internal experts to negotiate terms, deliver tailored solutions, and manage portfolios. Travel across the IMEA region is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in insurance, reinsurance, broking, or market management.
• Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Engineering, Risk Management, Business, Marketing or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of CAR, EAR, DSU, TPL and related lines.
• Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel across the IMEA region.

Responsibilities

• Design and place insurance programs for large construction projects.
• Manage placements across CAR, EAR, DSU, TPL and related construction products.
• Obtain, analyze, and compare coverage terms, and prepare placement recommendations.
• Present insurance solutions and coverage options to clients and advisors.
• Negotiate terms with insurers and reinsurers to secure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain relationships with markets and ensure timely placement activities.
• Monitor market trends, underwriting appetite, and industry developments.
• Ensure broking activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Support senior leadership in client servicing and portfolio management.
• Respond to RFPs and build long-term client relationships.
