Job summary

Global Law Firm in Dubai seeks a junior Construction Disputes Associate to develop expertise across high-value disputes in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and wider GCC. The role offers exposure to international arbitration, complex litigation, and close work with experienced partners.

The ideal candidate has NQ–3 PQE with a strong interest in construction disputes and a proven track record in related training or practice, including FIDIC contracts and dispute documentation drafting.

Qualifications

• Relevant contentious construction or international arbitration experience with a top-tier or strong regional firm.
• Disputes training seat and interest in specialising in construction would be considered.
• Open to candidates in the Middle East or UK-qualified lawyers willing to relocate to Dubai.

Responsibilities

• Exposure to international arbitration and construction-related litigation.
• Involvement in major infrastructure, energy, utilities and real estate disputes.
• Handle delay, disruption, variations, defects, EOT, payment and termination claims.
• Familiarity with FIDIC and other contracts; draft pleadings and dispute correspondence.
• Collaborate with delay, quantum, and technical experts on regional projects.
