Job summary

Heriot-Watt University Dubai Campus seeks a Senior Student Recruitment Officer to lead the overall student recruitment strategy for UG, PG, and research degrees. You will drive events, oversee admissions and customer service, and collaborate with global and regional teams to hit recruitment targets.

You will manage a portfolio of recruitment activities, recruit and train ambassadors, and shape experiences that showcase the university’s brand while delivering measurable outcomes across enquiries

Qualifications

• Educated to first degree level or equivalent practical workplace experience.
• Experience delivering customer-focused events and coordinating large-scale recruitment activities.
• Experience using CRM systems for lead capture and conversion.
• Ability to develop and use reporting dashboards to monitor customer service excellence.
• Proven ability to manage projects, balance priorities and drive strategic plans.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills; collaborative and proactive.
• Experience leading and developing teams and managing performance.

Responsibilities

• Strategy planning and management: contribute to regional recruitment targets and planning.
• Recruitment events: plan, coordinate and deliver events on-campus, virtual and external fairs; enhance customer experience.
• Customer service and admissions: manage enquiries, conversions, admissions service and KPI tracking.
• Team management: oversee staff, ensure alignment with university strategy and performance development.
• Citizenship and change: promote university values, support colleagues, and drive change with minimal risk.
