Job summary

Talentigence is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for building construction in Dubai. You will support the Project Manager, coordinate site activities, review drawings, and ensure compliance with Dubai authority requirements to drive project milestones to completion.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and 5–8 years of Dubai-building experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera P6/MS Project, and MS Office. A UAE driving licence is preferred for on-site coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5–8 years of relevant building construction experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Dubai building construction projects is mandatory.
• Experience in residential, commercial or mixed-use building projects.
• Strong knowledge of structural, architectural and finishing works.
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality, DDA, Trakhees and other authority requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera P6/MS Project and MS Office.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• UAE Driving Licence is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing building construction projects.
• Coordinate and supervise daily site activities to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Review construction drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and client representatives.
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• Ensure construction works comply with project specifications, quality standards and applicable Dubai authority requirements.
• Coordinate material procurement and timely delivery to site.
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support during construction.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and work progress.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
• Participate in inspections, testing, snagging and project handover activities.
