• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, shop drawings and technical documentation for site execution.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will support the execution and delivery of civil works across construction and development projects, ensuring that works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, project requirements and applicable UAE regulations.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, practical site experience and the ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Review civil and structural drawings, specifications, shop drawings and other technical documentation relevant to site execution.
• Monitor civil construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess quality of work, materials, progress and quality of civil works.
• Coordinate civil works with architectural, structural, MEP and other project disciplines.
• Review contractor technical submissions, including method statements, material submissions, RFIs and shop drawings.
• Identify technical, quality and site-related issues and coordinate appropriate corrective actions with consultants and contractors.
• Monitor concrete works, masonry, waterproofing, finishing interfaces and other building-related civil activities.
• Verify that construction materials and quality of work comply with approved specifications and quality requirements.
• Support inspections, testing and approval of civil works and construction materials.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers to support efficient site execution and timely completion of works.
• Monitor progress of civil works against approved construction programmes and report potential delays or technical concerns.
• Ensure civil works are carried out in accordance with applicable UAE building regulations, authority requirements and relevant codes and standards.
• Support technical coordination relating to Dubai Municipality and other relevant authority inspections and approvals where required.
• Participate in project progress, technical coordination and site meetings.
• Maintain accurate records of site inspections, drawings, approvals, RFIs, technical correspondence and other project documentation.
• Support snagging, defect rectification, final inspections and handover of civil works.
• Prepare regular site and technical progress updates for management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering .
• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant civil engineering experience, including solid experience working on construction projects in the UAE.
• Proven experience in building construction, site supervision and civil works execution.
• Strong practical knowledge of concrete works, reinforced concrete structures, masonry, waterproofing and general building construction.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, method statements and technical documentation.
• Experience reviewing shop drawings, material submissions and RFIs.
• Strong knowledge of UAE building regulations, construction standards and relevant authority requirements.
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality inspection and approval processes is highly desirable.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, subcontractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Good understanding of construction quality control, inspection procedures and material testing requirements.
• Ability to identify construction and technical issues and coordinate practical solutions.
• Ability to read and interpret civil, structural, architectural and MEP drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and common engineering and project documentation software.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance.
• Ability to manage multiple site priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
• A valid UAE driving licence is required
