Job summary

Careers International in Dubai seeks an experienced Project Engineer to oversee construction projects from planning through execution. You will coordinate with consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure on-time, on-budget completion while meeting quality and safety standards.

The role requires 3–5 years in construction, strong drafting interpretation, planning and scheduling skills, and proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Project Engineer.
• Mandatory experience in the Construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, site execution, and project coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and construction drawings.
• Knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Knowledge of project management software will be an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple site activities and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects.
• Monitor daily site activities and ensure work is progressing as per project schedules.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Consultants, Contractors, Subcontractors, and site teams.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules, work progress, and resource requirements.
• Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality, and safety standards.
• Coordinate material requirements and follow up on procurement and deliveries.
• Attend project and site coordination meetings.
• Identify site issues and provide technical solutions in coordination with the concerned teams.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and work progress.
• Prepare project reports, progress updates, and technical documentation.
• Ensure timely completion and handover of assigned project activities.
