Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to supervise bridge and underpass construction in Dubai. You will assist the Resident Engineer, review contractor progress, schedules, and method statements, ensuring compliance with RTA standards and DM regulations.

This role requires coordinating with multiple authorities and overseeing safety and quality on-site. The candidate should have a Bachelor in Civil Engineering and 8+ years of experience, specifically in roads and highways within Dubai, with

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering is required.
8+ years of demonstrable experience supervising roads/highways construction.
Dubai experience is required; RTA approval preferrable.

Responsibilities

Assist the Resident Engineer in managing bridge, underpass, and related civil works.
Review progress, schedules, method statements, ITPs, NCRs for RTA and DM/DM regulations.
Monitor earthworks, concreting, structural works, waterproofing, post-tensioning, bearings, and asphalt works.
Verify materials meet submittals and contract requirements; maintain daily progress reports.
Coordinate with contractors, utility agencies, and authorities for design approvals and permits.
Hold weekly/monthly progress meetings and prepare technical reports.
