Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a scientific discipline; preferably a doctoral degree such as M.D., Pharm.D., or Ph.D.
• 8+ years of medical affairs experience including leadership roles in strategic medical planning and launch execution
• Proven ability to influence within a matrix organization
• Strong people and project management skills with excellent communication
• Biologics therapy area knowledge
• Experience collaborating with external partners and cross-cultural teams
• Solid business acumen and regulatory/compliance understanding

Responsibilities

• Lead prelaunch and launch planning for Tozorakimab across international markets with medical readiness.
• Design regional medical strategy and align with commercial goals.
• Provide medical input to cross-functional teams to shape evidence plans and policy readiness.
• Coach and enable country medical teams; ensure compliant medical communications.
• Develop and oversee evidence generation and external medical education programs.
• Build strategic relationships with external experts to inform strategy.
• Collaborate with global and regional teams to align regional needs.
• Provide timely medical leadership on scientific developments and market dynamics.
• Uphold AstraZeneca policies and standards in all activities.
