Job summary

Aventus is seeking an experienced Chief of Staff to work directly with the Founder & Principal, overseeing a portfolio of businesses spanning investment management, technology and infrastructure.

You will act as the trusted right-hand, coordinating priorities, aligning executives, and ensuring key decisions and strategic initiatives are executed effectively in a high-trust, C-suite environment. This on-site role in Dubai requires extensive international travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in same or similar role.
• Experience working directly with a CEO, Founder or Principal.
• Experience at group level overseeing portfolio companies.
• Willing to travel mainly between UAE and Switzerland.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary link between the Principal and the CEOs of the group’s businesses.
• Coordinate business updates, executive meetings and key priorities across the portfolio.
• Review reports, investment papers and business proposals, ensuring key information and recommendations are clearly presented.
• Prepare the Principal for board meetings, investment discussions, negotiations and other strategic engagements.
• Communicate decisions, monitor progress and ensure agreed actions are delivered.
• Identify cross-business priorities, potential risks and matters requiring the Principal’s attention.
• Manage the Principal’s schedule, travel, correspondence and daily priorities.
• Handle requests and stakeholder communications on the Principal’s behalf where authorised.
• Lead special projects and strategic initiatives across the group as required.
• Build effective working relationships with senior executives, investors and key external stakeholders.
• Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality when handling sensitive business, financial and personal information.
