Job summary

Artelia Middle-East seeks a Project Director to own the delivery, performance and governance of a major Dubai airport project. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage contracts, drive strategy and ensure quality, cost, schedule and client satisfaction.

You will coordinate with clients, stakeholders and executive leadership to navigate complexities, optimize outcomes and safeguard profitability across all project phases.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience managing major construction, aviation or transportation projects, including airport developments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Airport Management, Aviation, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven track record delivering projects exceeding USD 1 billion in construction value.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of large-scale airport and infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements, objectives, budgets and timelines.
• Serve as the key client contact, managing stakeholder relationships and overseeing contractual commitments and project changes.
• Manage project contracts, commercial performance, subcontracting strategies, variations, claims support and financial objectives while safeguarding profitability.
• Lead multidisciplinary design and supervision teams, forecast resource requirements, mobilize project resources and drive high-performance execution.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, schedules, risks and KPI reporting to executive management.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, contractual obligations, local regulations and codes.
• Oversee contractor performance and variations, supporting project delivery through all phases.
• Support business growth initiatives and provide executive guidance on project matters.
