Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Project Director to oversee the successful delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects in Dubai. You will lead project planning, coordination, and execution, while managing contracts and client relationships. The ideal candidate should have at least 20 years of experience, preferably in the Middle East, and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of experience in project management of large-scale infrastructure or urban development projects.
• Proven record of managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects in the Middle East, particularly in Dubai or GCC region.
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent preferred.
• Strong financial acumen with expertise in project forecasting, contract administration, and cost control.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, negotiate effectively, and make strategic decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall project planning, coordination, and execution from inception to completion.
• Develop, implement, and monitor the Project Management Plan, including schedules, budgets, and performance benchmarks.
• Act as the primary liaison with clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring alignment with objectives.
• Manage contracts, negotiate variations, and ensure compliance with legal and financial terms.
• Provide direction and leadership to multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Monitor project revenue, profitability, cash flow, and financial performance.
• Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive problem-solving and decision-making.
• Oversee quality assurance, safety compliance, and adherence to Parsons' policies.
• Ensure timely approvals, invoicing, and payments in accordance with contract requirements.
• Support business development by contributing to bids and client presentations.
• Represent Parsons in stakeholder, regulatory, and client meetings.
• Promote innovation and continuous improvement in project delivery.
