Job summary

IIQAF Group of Companies is seeking dedicated and customer-oriented Airport Ground Staff to support daily airport operations in Dubai. You will assist with passenger check-in, boarding procedures, baggage handling, flight coordination, and other essential airport ground operations.

This role requires individuals who can work efficiently in a fast-paced airport environment while maintaining high standards of passenger service, safety, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Diploma in Aviation, Airport Management, Travel and Tourism, or Hospitality is an advantage.
• Previous experience in airport ground staff, airline ground operations, airport customer service, or passenger handling is preferred.
• Basic understanding of airport operations, airline procedures, and ground handling services.
• Knowledge of passenger check-in, boarding procedures, baggage handling, and flight coordination.
• Familiarity with airport safety standards and aviation security procedures.
• Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy airport environment.
• Physically capable of performing assigned ground handling duties where required.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Professional attitude with a strong commitment to passenger satisfaction and operational safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist passengers with check-in procedures, boarding passes, baggage drop-off, and flight boarding.
• Support airport ground handling operations to ensure efficient passenger movement and aircraft turnaround.
• Guide passengers through departure terminals, arrival areas, check-in counters, and boarding gates.
• Handle passenger inquiries regarding flight schedules, departure gates, delays, cancellations, and baggage services.
• Coordinate with airline representatives, ground handling teams, and airport operations staff.
• Assist with baggage loading, unloading, tagging, sorting, and tracking in accordance with operational procedures.
• Verify passenger travel documents, identification, tickets, and boarding passes.
• Support boarding gate operations and ensure passengers board flights according to airline procedures.
• Provide special assistance to elderly passengers, families with children, and passengers with reduced mobility.
• Monitor flight information and communicate relevant updates to passengers and operational teams.
• Follow airport safety regulations, aviation security requirements, and airline operational guidelines.
• Assist with arrival services, passenger transfers, and baggage claim operations.
• Report operational delays, baggage discrepancies, and passenger-related concerns to the appropriate supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and professionalism in assigned airport work areas.
• Deliver courteous and efficient customer service throughout the passenger travel journey.
