Job summary

Al Haktur IT Solutions in Dubai is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, invoicing, reconciliations, and financial reporting. You will work with ERP systems, ensure VAT compliance, and support audits while safeguarding confidential data.

The ideal candidate has a degree in accounting or finance, strong MS Excel skills, and the ability to work independently as part of a finance team to meet deadlines and deliver accurate statements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, commerce or related field.
• Experience as Accountant or finance role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and basic tax procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts and financial records.
• Record daily sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses and journal entries.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Prepare and process invoices, vouchers, and credit notes.
• Perform bank and cash reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Support audits by providing required documents and schedules.
