Job summary

Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara is seeking a reliable Driver to join our remote resort team in the United Arab Emirates. You will transport team members, guests and staff safely, while upholding local traffic laws and company safety standards.

A UAE driving licence and experience in hotel or resort settings are preferred. Live and work in a remote resort location, with flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Valid UAE Driving Licence.
• Previous experience as a Driver, preferably within a hotel or resort.
• Experience working in a remote location is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of UAE roads and traffic regulations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Willingness to live and work in a remote resort location.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport team members, guests, management and personnel as assigned.
• Operate company vehicles in accordance with UAE traffic regulations.
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Ensure vehicles are kept clean, safe, and in good working condition.
• Assist with staff transportation, airport transfers, city trips, and other operational requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle-related activities.
• Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of passengers according to scheduled timings.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work in a remote resort environment and accommodate operational requirements.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Provide professional and courteous service to guests and Team Members at all times.
